Paper-Piecing….Have you tired it yet?
This is my first ever paper-piecing quilting project. I tested a pattern from here . It is a super easy pattern to follow, and the results are simply amazing. The pattern is called Intersections, and is available from the link above.
I used charm packs from Moda for the diamonds, Kona Snow for the back ground fabric and a brown and black polka dot fabric for the stripes. I still need to quilt and bind the quilt. That will take some time. The charm pack is designed by Malka Dubrawsky and is the Simple Marks line.

Here is a close up of the quilting, I used chocolate coloured cotton thread for this quilt. It almost seems 3D. I love the modern quilting pattern.
