Who am I…

Welcome to my blog. It’s all about longarming, quilting, sewing and other bletherings of an avid sewer. Goal is to reduce stash so I can build another! Please enjoy!

What’s in a name? Fiddlehead Quiltz.

I love the shape of the fiddlehead, a simple swirl. Fiddleheads are the tightly rolled up fern fronds (leaves), usually found closer to the ground of  the fern plant. As the fern plant grows the fiddleheads unravel to display the fronds. Swirls and leaves are common designs used in quilting, which I love to doodle.
